Dewey has a new buddy.  His name is Raven.  He is a pure black Mustang from the western prairie.  In two of the photos you can see the brand put on him by the Bureau of Land Management when he and other members of his herd were rounded up, shipped east, and adopted out.  In his case he ended up, as many Mustangs do, in the wrong hands.
He was rescued by a gal who eventually decided that she could not offer Raven the care he needed.  I decided that Raven was a good match for Dewey and that we could give him the home he deserved.  What a beautiful pair they make.  They have bonded and are rarely more than a few feet apart.
